Medium: Painting

Before moving to the beautiful Columbia Gorge, I was a tenured Associate Professor at University of Mississippi, where I supervised graduate and undergraduate painting programs. Many of my paintings are in museum collections. Recently, I attended international artist residencies in Latvia (hosted by Rothko Museum) and Sardinia, which were both amazing experiences that positively impacted my work. I enjoy creating figurative paintings on large canvases in my upstairs studio, when I am not teaching downstairs at Joy's Art Studio.
