Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour is a juried, annual, self-guided tour of Columbia River Gorge artist studios. The Tour provides an opportunity for the public to meet artists at work in their studios.

Artists who can show in a working studio located in the Columbia River Gorge from Cascade Locks to the Dalles and from Parkdale, OR to Trout Lake/Goldendale, WA are eligible to apply. Artists may show independently or share a studio space with another GAOS artist. You may showcase art in your home if this is where you work.

It is the intent of Gorge Artists to showcase working studios and to serve as a year-round guide to art in The Gorge, promoting artists in enduring locations; "pop-up" shows are not permitted. Exception is made for one or more artists to show at The Dalles Art Center, a founding sponsor of the tour. Show addresses and artist plans must be clearly outlined at the time of application.

Participation Agreement:
I agree to be personally present during the GAOS Tour on April 20-22, 2018, and have my original art on display. I agree to have materials on hand to teach visitors about my artistic process. I understand the Tour is a cooperative event and that if I select to pay the Reduced Participation Fee, I am obligated to complete committee work (to be assigned by the board). I understand that for returning artists, preference will be given to artists who have previously fulfilled their commitments to the organization. Gorge Artists will refund my participation fee if I am not accepted.

I agree to allow my artwork to be used for publicity purposes. I give permission for Gorge Artists to resize or crop the images I submit, if necessary, to advertise on behalf of my studio and the Open Studios Tour event. I also understand that with regard to images, Gorge Artists, Inc. does not hold any responsibility for the actions or redistribution of a third party.

I agree to hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless Gorge Artists, Inc., gorgeartists.org, and the Gorge Artists Open Studios Board of any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage of any kind related to participation in the Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour.
